What is HorizonDEW and where did it come from?

Let me tell you a story.
A couple months ago, I was on holiday with some close friends. We’d had a big year, and I was deep in that space between What’s next? and Am I really going to do this?
One early morning, I walked out onto the balcony, no noise just some ruffling leaves and some chirping birds,, no distractions, just a hot coffee, icy cold and a quiet moment. I looked out over the ocean as the sun came up, and I remember this so clearly: I saw dew sitting on the balcony railing. And just beyond that? The horizon.
Right there, in that moment, everything clicked.
HorizonDEW
It wasn’t just a cool name.
It represented everything I was trying to build.
The horizon is the future, the realization that the world is really never ending, and your life is a journey that always has something beyond where you are now. Horizon reminder of a bigger picture, the vision beyond right now and the journey life has ahead of you.
The dew? That small, quiet reminder that things take time. That growth is a process. And yes, it also happens to tie back to my surname, de Wet.
That’s how HorizonDEW was born. In a quiet beautiful moment of clarity, I will never forget, I even took a picture.
Why I Started This
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with potential.
Not the flashy stuff, the real, personal kind.
The “you have more in you, let’s figure it out together” kind.
Over the years, I’ve worked in sports, consulting, customer service, Telecommunications and fintech, sales,… but the one thing that always pulled me in was people, helping them grow, unlocking their potential, leading them to something better and unlock that force within themselves they didn’t even know was there.
And after years of learning, leading, failing, figuring it out, and coaching along the way, I felt in my soul it was time to build a community of my own.
Something that brings everything I’ve learned together in one place.
Something that helps others grow the way I’ve had to grow.
That’s what HorizonDEW is all about.

I’m not here to preach from a stage. I’m here to walk with you, ask the hard questions, help you figure out what’s next, to fail with you, learn with you, challenge my beliefs and yours alike, whether it’s in life, business, or leadership.
